It was actually a lot warmer than I expected and that made it even better. My husband had a stroke in July and being paralyzed on one side makes that side colder. He's older and loves Charlie Brown so when I saw this I had to do it for him. It's his favorite item, and it's washed twice a week, or more often if he spills something. let me tell you Our Kentucky winter has been weird as hell, but even on the coldest nights he only uses this blanket and pajama bottoms, and paired with thick socks, he rarely complains about the cold on his left side. as previously. It didn't shrink, it only came loose after the first wash, which is to be expected with a fluffy duvet. His new pup even pulled on a corner and instead of pulling/threading the thread the thick thread went too far so I was able to use the same thread to fix that corner and looks just as good as day one! It was $48 all over VT country. Store and when I found it at Revain for about 20 I obviously should have missed the chance to try it at half price and it's the same manufacturer. Absolutely worth it!
