Review on 🥤 XLAB Cool Shot 20 oz Insulated Racing Bottle by Laura Peterson

We broke 6 of these bottles. We broke 2 today. One started and broke on a small impact and the other fell off me. When we bought our new P3s last year we chose the Xlab as it was the most popular system you've seen in the Tri. We spent a silly amount of money and got all carbon on both bikes. On my first race my bottle flew out and broke on a bump leaving me without water. A friend of ours bought the same system and faced the same problem and started using giant rubber bands to hold her bottles in place. We love having Xlab bags under the mount and if we could fix the bottle issue that would be great but it's just awful. I've never broken a bottle again. I have polar bottles that are 10 years old. Came here today to look through the reviews to see who else had this problem and what they did. Xlab needs a better bottle and at least stop selling it. I'm sorry I spent so much money on a system that doesn't work because of a few plastic bottles. Don't do what we did. Check out another system until it works.
