My V7 is about 7 years old. The design is cool, but I consider the faceted case to be the biggest drawback. The edges rest against the palm and fingers, endured for almost a week, then I got used to it and stopped noticing the angularity. The mouse is average in weight, the cable is moderately hard - the balance is good. Sliding is OK on any surface, but now it has become worse - the legs are worn out (in the V7M they are metal and more durable). All buttons work clearly, the side buttons are softer than the main ones, the wheel is stiffer, scrolling is easy, it's all a matter of habit, but I would like uniform efforts for all elements. I didn’t use three buttons behind the wheel, they turned out to be unnecessary, and it’s inconvenient to press quickly blindly: they are glossy and hard to distinguish by touch, often confused, never used to it, maybe that’s why I didn’t find a use for them. Over the years of operation, I have not noticed sensor breakdowns, accurate on any surface except glass. On my translucent glass table are cheap A4Tech / Logitech for 300. for some reason they worked, but V7 did not (however, the most effective game obliges you to have a mat). The software is convenient, I didn’t buy more “chito-functions”, I don’t need macros in shooters, I really liked the response time of 1 ms. I tried and forgot the double and triple click functions in one click, I got used to controlling everything with my fingers. In general, for all the time the mouse has faithfully plowed without a single jamb, the wire has not frayed, all the buttons click like new, the reliability and build quality are at the highest level. Only the wheel failed, double actuations appeared in one step, the fingers on the buttons polished the softtouch to a gloss, the slip worsened. But all this after 6 years of intensive work: she fell, hit the table, went to tournaments, flooded, in short, she did not know peace. Everything, there are no other problems. Changed because of the problems described above and the banal "tired". Total: V7 requires getting used to, the appearance is spectacular, but there are problems with the convenience - like a beautiful girl with a difficult character. However, not a single mouse could withstand 6 years of trouble-free operation. I wanted to put 4 points for the faceted case, but still 5.
