We spent a lot of time looking for new furniture that wouldn't attract the scratching post. However, she had other ideas and immediately began scratching surfaces that we didn't think would interest her. Having already tried it and then being very disappointed with the caps from scratches on her nails, I didn't expect a miracle, but I did. I thought this record would buy us time but instead it has been going for months now and no one has seen or heard her scratching furniture since. I didn't have to change the band as it held up well. Would buy again but the roll is huge so maybe not necessary.
