I have been using this product on loan in my kitchen however there are a few things to consider before purchasing. 1. - Will this product go well with my kitchen decor, walls and wood? 2. - Have you bought enough groceries and supplies to help you with the project? 3. - How big is the surface - will you be patient enough to continue? I was happy to use the product but my experience was not as expected. First, the thickness of the paper wasn't as thick as advertised on Amazon. It is as thick as white printer paper. Second, I didn't like the matte color, so I had to apply a layer of transparent color. Third, it breaks easily, so you have to be very careful. Had to be re-taped several times due to bubbles and creases. I used a hair dryer to help it stick and get rid of the bubbles, I used a cutting blade and white caulk. Be careful as too much heat from a hair dryer will actually break the paper and stretch it. In the end everything looks fine. I just don't like the combination with my walnut cabinets and I don't like the matte finish.
