Although the quality is good, the description of this product is incorrect. This is not an M10 x 1.0 socket or an M8 x 1.0 socket. Instead it is an M10 x 1.0 female to 3/8 x 16 male. You can tell if you look closely at the picture. I bought one for the fuel pressure gauge but had to send it back as I didn't need that thread combination. The good thing is that the return process to Amazon is pretty easy and worthwhile.
