Well my 4 year old got it from "Santa Claus" for Christmas. 2 days after Christmas it stopped working, beeping and changing colors instead of changing as it should when it's 'happy'. I was VERY upset but after reading other reviews I told my husband that someone had taken it apart and noticed where one of the mechanisms was stuck. My husband took it apart (a picture of a terminator-like dragon) and it was actually tied up. He said there is too much play in the mechanism which is why it is not working properly. but they fixed it. After 24 hours, the dragon was tied again. Once again my husband took it apart and fixed it. This is likely an ongoing problem with the toy. Now my daughter LOVES her kite but it is very frustrating that it keeps "breaking". If it weren't for Santa Claus. It would be worth coming back for a refund and getting something else for them. but how it was. I don't feel like explaining to my 4 year old daughter that we have to send her the Christmas present back and get something else. She was already crying because it broke the first time and wasn't sure if it could be fixed.
