I was parking a mile from my office and my shoulder bag was starting to bother me on long walks. Also, I started using a skateboard to cover the distance faster. What I really like about this bag is that it's very durable and keeps the weight right on my back. I never feel a heavy work laptop rocking on my back. Everything is held and I never feel like I lose my balance. This is important on a moving skateboard, but also very useful for just climbing stairs and moving around in general. I never get stuck.
