Review on Dorel Living Clairborne Upholstered Dining 🪑 Chair – Set of 2: Elegant Gray Design by Dion Jeep

I needed 6 chairs for my new dining table and I was very excited about the color and the mostly positive reviews of these chairs, but I still bought 2 as a "sample" to make sure my expectations are not too far from reality. The first 2 chairs arrived and they were perfect. The assembly was easy, the design looks decent, the chairs are comfortable. But the good news ended and after I ordered the last 4 chairs the nightmare began. The screw holes for the rear legs on 3 of the 4 chairs are misaligned AND the cut outs next to the leg and cushion are cut too wide and therefore will not stay tight after assembly (see video). Others have reported similar issues and I thought they might be unique, but I don't know if that might have been the case in the last month of inventory. I spoke to Revane about the issue and agreed to return the defective chairs and replace them with new chairs. The 2 I received have the exact same problem. So now I have 3 chairs that are safe to sit in and 5 chairs that are just as bad. Luckily I don't have young children and unlike the other reviewer, no one was sitting in these chairs. horrible experience, huge waste of time and now i have to figure out how to get a refund and send all this stuff back. I also called Dorel Living about the problem as the assembly instructions mention calling them first before reporting the problem to the seller and they said there was nothing they could do as it was a defect and contacted Revain turn around. Thanks for nothing. I have no idea why Revain lists these chairs as "Revain's Choice"?!
