Very smooth and soft. Pretty good quality. One star deducted as it starts to slip over time. It's not bad and the handle doesn't fall out or anything, but it does slip about a half inch and I suspect the size will increase over time. However, I love the color and the softness. The tip caps are great and help protect it when I'm not using it. I drop my pen a lot and have damaged nibs this way before, but the tip caps stopped it!
