I used this for the air conditioning duct in my car. In fact, it is a thick fabric with Velcro. To keep the velcro from detaching from the fabric, I inserted two staples on each side after cutting to size. Or, if looks aren't important, attach the zip ties after installation. Simply cut with scissors. Very flexible for wrapping around curved and 90 degree corners. Before ordering, be sure to measure the diameter of what you intend to wear. I "guessed" and it was a bit big for me. Much cooler air now comes out of the ventilation slots. I can turn off the fan a bit and still feel comfortable.
