This light is listed as a modeling light and strobe flash. It comes with both a model switch and a power switch. I now have 2 and can't get the modeling light/permanent light to work. Revain ships this lantern WITHOUT any padding or protection. The original and the replacement came in a bubble-free plastic bag. There is no protection or seal for the bulb which the instructions don't knock/warp/etc because it's fragile. The test flash works, but for some reason (aside from the basic instructions I've read) and my own knowledge, I can't get the steady light to work on the original or replacement.
