I bought these headphones for several reasons: 1. I don't need or want expensive headphones for running or exercising. I'm strict with my stuff and they just throw themselves in my duffel bag, my truck's center console, or my kitchen counter when I'm done lifting or walking. At $40, they're not too expensive.2. I wanted JVC again because my last pair of JVC BT headphones lasted a long time and they sound decent. If I want to wear headphones for listening because of the sound quality or noise cancellation, I have much more expensive over-ear headphones for that.3. I wanted this type of BT headphones because they fit and fit better than in-ear headphones for me. I've tried different types of earbuds and they don't fit my ears as snugly as these, which makes me uncomfortable, especially when I'm running. They stay in place and feel more comfortable to me. The price is good, the sound quality is good, the fit is good, and the battery life is good. To me this is a 5 star $40 BT headphone set.
