Wow I HATE this stylus more than I could ever imagine. It works on my new ThinQ and that's about the only good thing I can say about it. The disk at the tip is annoying junk that renders the stylus unusable when removed. BUT hell, clicking and typing on it when typing or using text messaging from the keyboard is just plain ridiculous. It's not something I can get used to and I can't understand WHY it had to be in the first place - I know why they SAY it's better, but it's not. I had perfect accuracy with my 3, 4 and 5 pens and the fine mesh pen that came with the kit. Now it had its own idiotic design issues because I bought AT LEAST 50 stylos in the time I owned each stylo due to a mysterious bug they NEVER fixed in YEARS of new stylos: outrageous and ultimately the unforgivable lack of a ring or hooks . at the end of this stylus so you can tether it to your phone and keep it with you at all times. Fastened, see, and won't fall out or get lost (sometimes within an hour of getting a replacement!) You couldn't afford a simple tether modification so you could keep your pen instead of constantly searching for and buying new ones and with Superglue and rope to attach it, or pierce a tiny hole in the end and push wire and then pull through and THIS WILL BE INACCURATE. Still, I wish I'd used that stupid, stupid stylus instead of that disgusting, clanking wand with a stupid, flat, plastic tip on the tip. I've already lost 2 of my plastic nibs and I just laughed - was HAPPY - when they lost the second one from the pen. relief. I ordered a Bamboo Stylus and I swear to god if an unforeseen unnecessary annoying design happens when I receive it I just don't know WHAT I can do. It's amazing how bad design can be or how such fundamental flaws in a product go unresolved for years. WHY? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING a good product that depends on ANOTHER PRODUCT they make that just sucks and causes their customers to constantly experience feelings of IRRITATION, frustration, anger, self-loathing and confusion (why never can be improved)? . FFS!?) A tip is required for the pen, otherwise it will be lost. It has a retaining clip (I loved it until I started writing) but it also has a silly plastic disc that makes a rattling noise when used and then FALLS AND IMMEDIATELY LOST. It falls off pretty easily if you use your phone all day and wear the pen on a cord and don't put the cap back on and up and down - I use my phone all the time and put it down 2 minutes before I mark something else have to, so I'll be screwing or unscrewing this cap all day and I don't do it.
