I've been looking through Revain reviews for products like this for months, my husband was dubious about a product like this being good for just four days but I'm so glad That I found this because it made a huge difference in how long we could stay away from home and in our comfort level under the hot Florida summer sun. This would be a great tent to take to a sporting event, park or backyard. I needed something that was easy to set up and take down, something we could use for full body shade and privacy when needed, but I really wanted three side walls (some tents that caught my eye, there's only a window or two), one Kind of home base so that when we got close to the water me or my kid could find our tent and get back to base camp and something strong enough not to be blown away by the usual sea breeze. This tent ticks all the boxes. It was definitely larger than I expected - I wasn't given a tape measure when I saw the sizes online, but I was looking for something that would easily fit two adults and my child and be secure. They say that three adults and some things nearby could easily fit in this tent (I'm not sure about sunbeds - we didn't have them). It's also safe to say we found it easily from the water side as it was big enough to be seen without being ridiculous and no one else had a bright green tent so I found our spot good easy to find. My 3.5 year old could also spot it from the water and not get lost so it was amazing. We took it to Daytona, where the wind isn't too bad, but on a normal day it can blow away a fragile umbrella or tent. The only time we've had a problem with that is when the wind really picked up because there was a big storm coming up and I can't blame him because people almost got blown over. It just blew off a bit and flattened a bit, but didn't blow away, nothing broke or cracked. I never used stakes and zip ties but we filled the sandbags and that was more than enough because the side sandbags are quite large and the sand is heavy - you can add some water to make it heavier. She was also weighed down with a cooler she had brought along and a few other items, but little else. and my baby so I carried this, a medium cooler bag and another large beach bag filled with the rest of our stuff/toys. I practiced the installation in our living room beforehand, but I really didn't have to worry. I'm not a camper and these kids tents that magically fold into a circle with wires are driving me nuts, so I guess I can say I'm not the most experienced tent pitcher out there. However, it was really easy with this tent - they printed the instructions on a piece of fabric that fastened to the inside of the carry bag for easy access, and it took me less than a minute to put it together and take it apart again. I'm 5ft 9" but since you need the tent on the side to push it out anyway, a shorter person could still handle it. I was also glad it went so quickly because the kid was jumping up and down to get to the water and figuring out how to set up a new tent wasn't much fun and it was nice that we got to pack and pack go as fast as the storm started. All in all it's amazing. Children on the beach, it's a lifesaver. Even if it's just you it's big enough to take a nap and it's better to get some shade from the sun as you have a few shady sides and you can reduce the UV a bit. As opposed to an umbrella. Also, it was nice to be able to hang our towels or wet shirts to dry on poles on the roof and to hang wet puddle sweaters to dry.
