Lovely, flattering plus-size maxi-dress

I haven't worn a dress in years, because I haven't found an affordable, comfortable, flattering dress for an over-60, tall "big girl" who prefers not to show her legs. Now that I've seen how this dress looks on me, I'm looking for an occasion to wear it. 🙂The crisscross front shows a bit of cleavage, with plenty of space for my choice of jewelry. It's set off by a slightly ruched band around the tummy, which is a very flattering design. The skirt is a generous length that goes nearly to the floor on me. The sleeves are also long enough to wear as-is or push up to 3/4 length for a touch that matches the tummy ruching.The wine red color I chose is lovely, making a simple but classy outfit, very versatile.The fabric is soft and stretchy, and it seems quite wrinkle-resistant.One nitpick: Right out of the shipping bag, the polyester fabric is quite staticky. A little static-guard spray will probably take care of that. (I don't use fabric softener due to scent sensitivities.) I also will look for a long slippery slip to help the skirt drape without cling.
