I like this product for its speed and simplicity. Quite easy! Take any box of rectangular pasta and add the seasonings, fill the container to the line and microwave for 3 minutes. Wait a few minutes to cool, stir and eat. You can't imagine anything easier! Noodles are a little different, I think that's because starch accumulates in the water compared to noodles. If you read more, soup directions say to use 2 to 3 cups of water, so reduce the amount of water you use. So the taste is a bit different because the noodles are not cooked as long and the amount of water is used. If you really like the soup part of noodles, then this product is not for you. Stick to boiling water in a saucepan. I've tried some fried instant noodles where you drain the water and collect the packets, it was amazing! Especially with Indomie Mi Goreng Instant Noodles, I boil or boil an egg while the noodles are in the microwave and add it to the noodles with chopped green onions and it was perfect. Or you can take some of the leftover meat (while it's cold) and shred it up and once the noodles are done, immediately toss them with the noodles and mix in the packets of sauce, which was great too.
