This is a really nice little monitor. I wasn't expecting much from a budget monitor at a rock-bottom price, but I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised. In fact, there are no downsides in this price range. Pros: 1. Very clear, crisp screen for a 1600x900 display. Has a better picture than my new HP 1920 x 1080.2 monitor. Very good standard color saturation - does not wash out at all. I didn't feel the need to adjust the color or brightness settings.3. Good writing clarity and sharpness.4. It has built-in speakers, a pleasant surprise for such a cheap monitor, while many pricier models don't have speakers. The speakers aren't very loud, but they are very clear and not tinny. Speakers work via DVI to HDMI cable and do not require an additional audio cable.5. Comes with a DVI-D to HDMI cable as well as a standard VGA to VGA cable. The monitor has a VGA output and two HDMI outputs as well as audio outputs if you don't want to use the built-in speakers.6. The monitor stand is attached to the base and screwed to the monitor with just two screws. A sturdy hinge is built in, making it easy to tilt the screen to your liking. Assembly took a few minutes.7. The box comes with a screwdriver, so you don't need to bring your own tools.8. Good connections with color coding on the back. This is my first Zepter monitor and based on that I will probably consider this brand again. Very satisfied.
