This is MUCH better than nylon straps which really don't give anyone a sense of stability! The back was very easy to assemble. The front ones were a little painful, but only because I needed a picture (with no directions and with a spatial call). So I went back to that ad, broke up the image and got tangled up in it. The large pad is at the bottom and the small one is at the top. At least I hope that's how it seemed best to me. Oh!
