You are good! on Lights & Lighting Accessories

First of all The ones I received are genuine. Osram offers a 2-step verification that you can complete after receiving the lamps. You do not need to open the package for this review. The Lincoln MKS is an OEM lamp replacement vehicle. This is what they look like to me. My Lincoln with OEM bulbs versus a car with standard headlights. Lincoln looks white and the other yellowish. Lincoln is 2 times brighter than others. I haven't done anything with lightbulbs before. I sanded the headlight lenses with 1500, 2000 and 3000 grit sandpaper. then I used a bartender's friend turned into a paste to polish it even more. then the red wheel appeared. When I was done, the car didn't even look like it had lenses over the headlights. Unfortunately, because no manufacturer seems to have found a way to prevent microcracks on plastic lenses caused by heat and UV lamps. I have this and it is visible when the headlights are on. I installed a lightbulb so I can do a direct comparison so apples to apples if you know what I mean. These bulbs compared to OEM are pretty damn close that the OEM HID for "Legacy" isn't 2x brighter, maybe 40% brighter. And they have the least blue. I would tie these things to 6100K or so. Not the 7000 stated on the box. I did some research and saw that some people mentioned this. oh, that's what I expected. I also bought a Morimoto H11 55Watt HID kit to replace the older amber fog lights. They are rated at 6500K so should pair well with these bulbs. I hope this helps me see better when "that guy" comes from the other side. Adjust the headlights to see more of the ground. A little later I will post a photo showing the difference between Legacy, OEM HID and these bulbs.
