This pillow is the BEST solution for someone with a herniated disc who hates the curve of a bucket seat. This brings me forward exactly where I need to straighten the middle and upper spine. A lot of cars, including mine (Honda CRV '16) have a headrest that juts forward and prevents me from moving my neck a lot, looking up, etc., which is especially annoying when you comb your hair a lot wearing a ponytail. like me. The bucket seats seem made as if they were made for people with bad posture, but I don't have bad posture and I usually sit upright, so the bucket seats are TOO curved (ie for a hunched posture!). By pushing my whole chest forward and sitting more upright, this pillow ensures that the back of my head is no longer pressed against the headrest. The $40 price tag is totally worth it - lifesaver, makes driving MUCH more comfortable and I'm still protected by the headrest in the event of a crash. Now I take it with me when I'm out and about in other people's cars. I should probably buy a replacement pillow! The cushion started to flex a little after half a year of use to fit the shape of my seat, but works the same. I also don't tie it with straps to the back of the bucket seat because they don't hold up well, instead I manually adjust it behind my back every time I get in the car. The fabric is soft and the pillow is comfortable and it's pretty durable considering how much I use it and go everywhere.
