Simple plug and play device that allows you to connect either four sources and one output or four outputs and one source. I connected the DAC and preamp as one input with three different outputs: one set of passive speakers connected to a class D amplifier, another output has another set of passive speakers connected to another amplifier, and a third output connected to a headphone amplifier. The select block makes it easy to switch between three different outputs with a flick of the wrist. The volume control is an added bonus, allowing me to control the volume from my desktop without having to reach out to adjust the volume of either amp. It's small and works really well without adding any artifacts or anything to the sound since it's a passive device. EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE.
