Review on Heil Sound PL-2T Overhead Broadcast Boom: Top-Quality Solution for Seamless Audio Broadcasting by Roger King

I got the PL-2T a few days ago and the arm itself is really well thought out and built. However, I have major problems with the supplied table clamp. No matter how tight I tighten it, after a few adjustments, it loosens up enough to slide over the edge of my desk. Also, it's incredibly thin and narrow, and it looks like it could break at any time with hand movement, especially when trying to adjust the position where it's not straight. I just don't trust it, especially since I'm using it to support a £2 mic over an expensive monitor. Edit: The cable covers just came off. The little plastic tabs that were supposed to be holding them broke in place after just a few weeks. Edit 2: The stem is loose and no matter how tight I tighten it, it won't stay in place. I put it on to the point where my fingers hurt and it still moves. I shouldn't have that many issues with this expensive product less than a month after receiving it. I am extremely disappointed. I contacted the support team a week ago and still haven't received a response.
