This 10-piece FreshLock Plus Storage Box with Microban from Pyrex is versatile and useful. The glass jars and lids/seals are truly airtight, unlike other brands of plastic jars that have lids with rubber seals. There are 2 round for one cup, 1 for two cups, 1 rectangular for 4 cups and 1 round for 4 cups. They are perfect for leftovers and to reheat in the microwave. The instructions state that it is not to be used on the stovetop, under a grill, in a toaster, or over a fume hood or modeling light. Plastic lids are for microwave use and storage only. The information with the set states that the dishes can be used in the preheated oven, but without the lid. This cookware seems to need more care than the old Pryrex, but I'm happy to use it. The rubber seals on the lids have Microban antimicrobial protection, which is very good because. I couldn't take them off the lid. This protects them from bacteria. It's a nice heavy durable glass for its size and will last for many years.
