I bought it to weigh large boxes. If I need it more frequently (more than once), I would buy a larger one, as I often need to place a wooden plank on a scale, tare it, and then weigh it. As I don't use it that often, it's ok and packs away to take up minimal shelf space. If I were doing daily ebay/shipping I would buy one with more ground clearance (higher) as it can uncomfortably balance large items. The scale is about DIN A4 in size, so the smaller bags are very simple. However, the scale itself is really good, weighing accurately and the reading cable is invaluable. Good product, looks good, seems reliable and is still running on the same battery a few years later. I would recommend this if you don't ship large things often.
