UPDATE: Don't buy. It shrinks weirdly in the wash. It's literally over a foot shorter than when washed. I don't know if it was the wash or the drying, but damn it. That's not normal. This summer I was looking for a cape for the beach - something light but long enough to cover my hips. I'm 5'10" and most of my height, so dresses and tunics tend to be on the short side for me. It was buttery soft, form fitting, soft and had a cooling effect: perfect for hot days by the pool or at the beach. It is clean in the sense that I could see my black swimsuit slightly against my white skin but kinda cloudy.I like the high/low hemline but wish they could split the difference by making the front a little longer and the back make it a little shorter. The back is a bit like Jacob Marley in a nightgown but I just try not to think about it. I don't really like the fake collar and it was two inches shorter on me than I would have liked. I will sew it in the middle because i don't like how it falls apart at the bottom where there are no buttons but it was so soft, so cool and long enough that i'm happy with it.
