Review on Belkin Grip Apple Touch Black by Jae Pistono

Photos of this item are somewhat misleading. It's hard to understand what "faux leather" is and isn't. A "soft-backed" square is the only thing that resembles "skin". I think it's some kind of pseudo-leather material. The rest of the lid is smooth non-catchy malleable plastic. I needed something that I could easily slip in and out of my bag and it really helps. In the event of an accidental drop, I'm not sure if a thicker material or a softer (and stickier) silicone case would better protect the iPod from bumps. That will probably work, but $29.00?
