. We strung them around 2 miniature palm trees .

. We strung them around 2 miniature palm trees in the front yard and set the mode to Timer and Steady On. Rarely will both of them light up. At times one will light up and the other does not. We have tried various modes and options to no avail. Since it was a chireto string them around while getting stung by the sharp bark of the tree, it would be a huge hassle to take them down and return them. Very disappointed

I just use these this Christmas, a year after purchasing. One of them worked beautifully for weeks until I turned it off for the season but the other one only worked for a day or two and I don’t know why.
