Overall it's durable and beautiful. It can support the weight of a 2 and 5 year old child at the same time. Thanks to the pattern on the steps, I don't have to worry about them slipping off when brushing my teeth or washing my hands. It was more difficult to assemble than Ikea furniture. Only one hole was drilled in the wooden dowel where two were needed (one at each end). I had to drill a hole. I was lucky I didn't break the dowel. The screws were too tight to get in and I blistered my arm from the Allen wrench. Quality control was a little off, but overall I'm happy with it.
