This is a very inexpensive dress, but a value for the dollar. I would probably have paid double to have nicer fabric though - all else the same. I bought two of these dresses for an upcoming cruise where I would be salsa dancing. The bodice and sleeves are nicely lined and the collar line is elasticized to help secure it in place. Lifting arms above the head properly in this dress would be difficult, but for most social occasions you should be fine. I ordered two print designs. I feel like the print designs camouflage the cheaper fabric quality. Fabric is not see through, but you would do well to use Spanx or a similar slippery under garment underneath just so the skirt lies smoothly and doesn't bunch or ride up. I'm 5'2", weight 120 lbs, muscular arms and am 37-26-37 approximately and I ordered a size 4. It fits snuggly, but with the spandex it has just the right amount of stretch. This dress should be purchased on the tighter side as it will likely stretch when worn. If you purchase it too loose it may look rather matronly. From the looks of the fabric I would not recommend washing it. I feel like the cheaper cottons like this will fade. This is more of an issue with the darker prints. Hope this helps others.
