I've had trouble for years and years trying to find a swimsuit that doesn't accentuate where I have fat around my buttocks/outer thigh. I feel like it's a weird place to have some fat bulging because whether bathing suit bottoms are high cut or low cut or boy cut, it seemed to always cut this area in a weird way and accentuate that problem area for me. In the end I feel like that area just needs to be covered for me to not feel self conscious. and while a swim skirt does cover it, I feel kind of like an old lady and like I'm very obviously trying to hide myself which I don't think is a good look either. Enter these shorts! They just look like shorts and not like a swimsuit that's trying to hide anything. I feel really confident chasing my two little kids around and no longer self-conscious about my body. I'm so excited about these and for once I'm looking forward to going to the pool without feeling self-conand for once I'm looking forward to going to the pool without feeling self-conscious. Another bonus is you could easily walk into a store or somewhere wearing these and not feel like you need to change out of your swimsuit or put on some kind of cover up.
