This company is not kidding!

So I'm new to photography but not new to gimbals. So when I got my A7III it was time to pair it with something just as good to capture those moving shots. I checked other brands but finally settled on this one. Let me just say if you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera, get one of those! I didn't mean to post typical camera installation videos, there are many of them. So I went the other direction and tried to be resourceful. The result wasn't bad. (This is a raw video) Okay, let's get to the specs. Pros: * No rotation radius restrictions along the main axis. (Why does it matter?). Well, when you're working with a weighted rig, you don't have to move the weight much. With the main axis spinning in circles, you don't have that fear anymore.* Amazing control at the handle. If your camera is on the list of compatible cameras, rejoice. I've tested this on several different cameras and can't get enough of the amount of control.* Light for a gimbal of this level. I was expecting more weight when it came to overall payload. But these guys did something amazing with weight distribution and balance. You really won't get stressed if you don't wear this for a long time. (Possibly a wedding) At this point I suggest getting side handles or a waist belt. * Carbon fiber - nice touch on the handle. * Balancing/tuning is fast * You can technically use this with a cellphone. Now that the weight has to be tricked to balance it, the stylus doesn't actually control your phone. You can use it to get a smartphone working if you just want absolute overkill for hanging your smartphone. * The engine speed and power is hands down the best I've seen. This allows you to automatically adjust engine power to determine how much to use for what you have. For this amount of stabilizer, the application could be improved a bit. * Batteries, you can't just plug it in and go. They have 3 specific batteries that need to be removed and charged in a dedicated charger. A little uncomfortable. It would be nice to have removable batteries or the ability to plug in and charge, but I'm sure the weight would add to it. So come and take it. Overall, it's a little pricey, but worth its weight in gold. If you want to take video recordings more seriously, I recommend you get one of these. You will not be disappointed. I take it with me everywhere I shoot, just in case I need a good on-the-move shot.

Pros
  • Powerful motors
Cons
  • Weight
