Nose hairs are bent rather than cut.

Manufactured from 2mm thick stamped sheet metal. The cutting edge is weak (not "sharpened"), not sharpened to remove nicks created by grinding the surface of the cutting blade. The blade bends the nose hair instead of cutting it and does not cut evenly.
