This is a comfortable and durable strap but the watch is only held on by weak rivets. When I unpacked the bracelet I was impressed with the quality of the bracelet and the slightly dismayed pins holding the watch. Granted, these are 1.8mm pins, not 1.4mm, but I'm replacing the strap because I broke the 2.0mm pins on my G-Shock's original strap. It wasn't the first band I broke up, so I'm sensitive about that. (One minor point is that the narrower pins slip through the strap retainers during installation.) The strap appears to be extremely strong, but I downgraded its durability based on the pins. One more note. I don't plan on wearing that in my workshop. The strap keeps the watch about a quarter of an inch off the wrist to prevent it from snagging on moving parts. The problem is compounded by the fact that the strap is a single strap, so it cannot be broken by pulling the pin out of the watch mount (as my original strap accidentally happened). When the watch gets stuck on something, your hand goes along with it.
