Not 4 feet long. They are 46 1/2 inches or so.
It's not 4 feet. They are about 46 1/2 inches. This doesn't seem like such a big deal. This is a big problem when the joists in your building are 48 inches apart, and the missing 1 1/2 inches means the cords won't reach, even with the lights installed at the edge of each joist and the cord pulled that tight is as possible. .
