Review on Westinghouse Lighting 7840900 Industrial 56-Inch Three-Blade Ceiling Fan - Powerful Cooling Solution with Easy J-Hook Installation, White by Sarah Jackson

Bought 4 pieces for my shop. While the fans are good, the switches that came with this fan are cheap quality and broke on day one. I'm trying to figure out how to fix this. Very dissatisfied with the switches. The plastic ripped right after installation. Therefore, the only way to stop or start the fan is to take a ladder and hit the kill button at the base of the fan, which is not the best solution. Not being able to control the fan speed and not being able to turn it on or off due to a broken switch is very painful, especially if you work in a shop and it's been terribly hot the last few days.
