At first I thought this case was bad because of how it sits on my chrome book. A little loose, but not where it might fall. I went back and looked at the description and found that in laptop mode the computer works as you imagine. Now the magic happens when you switch to tablet mode. The bottom shell folds over and snaps onto the keyboard, which is now the underside to protect the keys. Then if you want to stay in tablet mode, the top shell can be attached to the screen when not in use to protect your screen. That's why the shell doesn't hang around so much, but can be easily removed and put on again. . Love it.
