I have a large Rogue FlashBender that I use for work almost every day. I wanted to use the XL for home and personal use and to photograph the actors and performers for their auditions. The XL is actually quite large, not quite suitable for the kind of walking and shooting that news photography requires. But it's perfect for more controlled environments, like working in the studio or shooting outdoor fashion, where you have more control over the environment. For more informal situations (family affairs, parties, snapshots, etc.) and news work I use the Large FlashBender and for model, fashion or corporate portraits I prefer XL.
