I love this style of shoes for my kids in the summer; You can put on shoes and go out quickly. When they then enter the house again, it is also a quick move. I ordered a size 11.5 because my baby is starting to outgrow her size 11. As you can see from the picture, my child has enough space for the foot to grow. The moveable support can be placed in the front when they start to outgrow the size, but when the size is a little smaller they can use it to push the foot a little more. This way they can benefit more from one size and the shoes will last longer. I usually find that summer shoes are much larger than the same size tennis shoes, but that's not the case. I would say they are true to size. I have a foot gauge that I use to check my kids foot size and it seems to be true to size. I love the design on the side and so does my daughter. The material from which the shoes are made has a soft and somewhat "frothy" feel. The bottom of the shoe has handles and the inside also has a comfortable grip to keep the child's foot in place while carrying it. That's a great price and I would recommend them.
