Trying to get a phone mount for the 2016 F150 can be a big hassle. I couldn't find any other phone mount that was strong enough and adjustable enough. I installed one on the passenger side and the other on the driver's side. One on the driver's side is installed in a recess in the dashboard between the curve of the dashboard and the center area of the dashboard. This puts the phone squarely at eye level ahead without interfering with your view of the road. The top of the phone is only slightly higher than the lens hood. It can be difficult to work with a phone in a parking lot because the shifter is in the way. I don't mind that because it's all about holding the phone so I can see it without taking my eyes off the road when the switch isn't in park.
