Review on πŸŽ’ Granite Gear Event SIL Compression Drysack - Waterproof Stuff Sack with Enhanced SEO by Robert Goodlow

Better than expected

At first glance it looks like any other compression bag and makes you wonder why you bought it in the first place. But then you stuff it with gear, compress it to zero and find that it fits perfectly in your pack and is waterproof; At this point you will realize that you have actually justified your money. In terms of compressibility, I use this for my Hammock Gear Top quilt and I can shrink my bag to half the size of the bag it came with. The water resistance also seems to be great, but (fortunately) I haven't tested it in practice yet. But I filled the sink with water and completely submerged the bag several times and then let it float in the sink for almost 30 minutes. I didn't plan on leaving it in the water that long, but after a few minutes I forgot it was in the sink. To my great surprise, my duvet was 100% dry! Great product and it does exactly what it's supposed to.
