I have worked with AWS services for about 20 years now, from simple web hosting all up to complex machine learning tools running in EC2 environment - it was always great! With this new zip service we lost many of our favorite features that were available before such as file versioning or deduplication etc., but still keep control over access permissions through ACL management is really awesome too (even though there are some limitations here).
Still no support provided by awscli toolkit which forces me run my own scripts instead using boto library; also cannot use python 3 yet so having hard time supporting current Python versions used most everywhere today ;-) Some more feature missing at first sight like object expiration date/time could be useful if not implemented later already when they should go live soon anyway.
