For a long time I could not find cheap boots for my 3 year old son in the pictures. It was perfect there. I like that they come in half sizes. We usually buy him a size 9 which is a bit big so I ordered 8.5 BC another review said they are a bit big. They ended up fitting him well, leaving a bit of room to grow, but not too big to fall off his feet while walking. I don't know how they hold up from the outside because we've only worn them a couple of times when we needed something nicer than tennis shoes (pics, party wear). But at this age they grow so fast that most of the time you have to buy new shoes before they even wear out, so if it lasts 3 months I'll be happy. They're easy to put on which is a bonus - I just have to tie them.
