Appearance when new. Excellent. looks very sturdy and well made. But if you wear it for a few weeks, you'll see what defective leather looks like: the strap is completely torn from side to side. In one of the holes where the buckle would normally be used. What causes such damage so quickly? It's all about the design and the materials used. The belt consists of two thin pieces of leather sewn together, but there is a thick fabric between the two thinner strips of leather. This material has no strength: it is only needed to pad the belt and make it thicker. The upper and lower layers of skin are of poor quality, not very durable, so if even a small load is applied to one of the holes, everything will be torn to pieces. See photo. Stay away from this junk.
