Does exactly what I need

I needed a way to set up a standing option for my laptop that I could use as an alternative to buying a standing desk. I have a regular desk and put it next to my "sit" monitor so I can stand for a bit and then sit for a bit. I've read other comments complaining about not being able to just take it up and down and it's true. You'll have to figure out how to set it up for the ideal stand configuration, and don't expect to quickly switch it to alternative configurations. I wasn't expecting it to expand and contract like a hydraulic table so it worked exactly how I expected it to and still gave me a very flexible configuration for my permanent alternative. Alternatives that can be configured with a touch cost a lot more, this works great when using it the way I do. And I didn't want to buy a whole new table, I just wanted to add something to my existing table. I also see complaints about a mouse pad that I don't use at all. It now comes with a better mousepad than the original that other commenters have complained about. My favorite way of using it is to place the laptop on the top stand and use the bottom mouse tray (just place the mouse on the bottom stand where the keyboard might fit). It doesn't seem thin to me and I don't see any wobbling. I could also have put the monitor on the top unit and the keyboard on the bottom, but I didn't because it works for me as well as it is. Update: After playing around with it a bit, I have more information to provide. I kept reading that it was shaky and didn't have that problem. When I decided to change up the way I set it up, I realized that since each leg is infinitely adjustable, it was possible to get some wonky configurations. The key is to keep the bottom two feet close enough together for stability, and then use the top foot for elevation. Or flip your bottom leg so it's pointing backwards. Either way, you'll need to play around with the configuration to ensure you end up with a stable device that you can test by trying to rock before actually putting your computer on it. This means even more than before that this is a "set and forget" device and not something you have to constantly change. That's how I wanted to use it, so it's fine for my purposes, but you should be aware.
