Snug fit is good for this style because I didn't want it too loose for fear that it would expose my bra straps as I wore it over a spaghetti strap summer dress. Fit on my arms was comfortable and not at all restricting. Thin enough to be worn in the summer, short enough to be worn with a dress or shirt that you don't want to cover all of. This is essentially the best thing you can wear if you're just trying to cover your shoulders without having to wear a t-shirt underneath or wear a baggy cardigan that might take away from the shape of the item you're wearing underneath. I'm fairly busty and this fit me well (S-L) and could still button up without looking like it was going to pop.
