I bought two of these units for my upcoming Northern Lights trip. When I'm draining the battery in the cold, I need multiple batteries and the ability to quickly recharge them. I didn't think about the charging time, but these devices managed to charge my dead EN-EL3e batteries in less than two hours. assume. Certainly slower than the OEM charger, but much more compact and easy to carry. I could pack three of these devices due to the weight and space of the stock charger and cable. The charge indicator LEDs are easy to read and the ability to fold the connector into a travel device is a definite plus.
