I didn't think I'd need it with my first baby, but now that I have it I can definitely see its appeal! Keeps your hands clean when changing and saves on wipes. I usually just wipe off the excess ointment with a clean cloth and throw it away. I also like that I can sanitize this between changes to keep my fingers and possibly bacteria from getting into the ointment container. Fewer problems if you use an ointment that comes in a tube. The suction is good, I like that I can stick it in one place and it stays in place and doesn't get lost. You get 2 per pack so we keep one on the changing table and one in the diaper bag. Very happy with it!
