I bought this for my father because after my grandma died we owned all the pictures she had of her two sisters for 90 years plus over 70 years! I mean lots of photos of family, friends and vacations. I hate seeing those memories in a damp attic, garage, or shed. Photos are like people. You have a lifespan. And I found these memories slowly dying I've started scanning them, with a 256g card I can insert it right into the frame and keep the card in a safe place (in case of disaster) and I know these memories are safe. I made this for my dad and left it on so the family can send pictures. The ad is random, so sometimes I look up and see a long-dead loved one smiling back. Glad these memories are preserved. I'll get another one. And with the app, I can just connect it and I'm good to go. If you're giving this to an elderly person, I recommend preparing them and giving the family access to the app. This allows them to submit new photos and memories as they become available. It also allows you to create short video clips. I added a few, it's a nice surprise, the sound reminds you to take a look when you have time.
