Wide base of lighting and ceiling fan housings
This fan is very nice and quiet and also offers a decent amount of light. It was bought to replace a fairly new Hunter brand fan that just stopped working. This Harbor Breeze model was chosen for its wide (probably 15″) hull base. The Hunter had a smaller base that didn't cover the edges of the previous ceiling light. The Harbor Breeze covered the fault and eliminated the need for any painting or plastering. The fan is of excellent quality and almost silent. It's elegant and ornate, but not subtle. It might not be the best choice for a small space.
